All our containers, at the end of their operational life, are recycled to create new products.
New projects
Driven by the need to protect the environment, we have undertaken two eco-friendly projects in the Logistics and Foodservice fields:
the new line up of KOALA GREEN isothermal containers with integrated cooling and heating unit, battery powered, therefore completely autonomous. Not requiring the vehicle’s power supply, they help reduce consumption and the resulting CO2 emissions into the environment.
the new range of NATURA trays, produced with paper obtained from forests certified by the Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC®), the internationally recognized non-profit organization in responsible and sustainable forest management
Green choices guide the corporate policy on the reduction of consumption and waste management. As early as 2020, we have undertaken a mapping of consumption and emissions to implement a series of initiatives aimed at reducing them, such as the installation of photovoltaic panels on production plants. During 2021 we have worked, periodically, to raise the awareness of our employees by reducing the time slots for heating and air conditioning systems and by monitoring the correctness of separate waste collection. We are committed to progressively improving our performance towards people and the environment, starting to assess the feasibility of purchasing energy from 100% renewable sources.
